If Medi-Cal rates are indeed that low in one of the more expensive states, I’m unsurprised by this. I’d also contend though that the rates might be acceptable if there was a higher likelihood that they’d actually be paid anytime soon.
I’m not sure it’s fair to lambaste an approach just because the implementation in the state of “Proposition Bread-and-Circuses” and legislative deadlock is screwed up.
